Panic as rockets fly over Israeli wedding

An Israeli couple were forced to run for their lives from their own wedding as Hamas rockets exploded over the ceremony Tuesday night.

The couple and their guests in the city of Holon, near Tel Aviv, ran to shelters seconds after the first rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system, The Daily Mail reported.

Dramatic photos show the wedding party and their guests scrambling in panic as a rocket shoots over the outdoor ceremony.

The rockets were among about 150 fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel over the past several days, prompting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to warn that a ground war was becoming increasingly likely.

He ordered the military to “take off the gloves” in what it is calling “Operation Protective Edge.”

“We have decided to intensify even further our attacks on Hamas and other terror organizations in Gaza,” Netanyahu said in a text message, Bloomberg reported. “The military is prepared for all options.”
