If Eli Manning is wearing dog tags and doing an auto-tuned rap in outer space, it must be time to sell you some satellite TV channels before NFL season.
Eli and big brother Peyton — consistently dazzling pitchmen as well as Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks — present DirecTV’s “Fantasy Football Fantasy,” a surrealist sequel of sorts to last year’s not-so-hip-hop extravaganza “Football on Your Phone.”
This one has the Giants and Broncos QBs trading in the Southern preppy look for straight-brimmed hats and chains and teaming up for such self-consciously stiff rhymes as “It’s a football fantasy like no other/Like having a best friend that’s your quarterback brother.”
The cameos come courtesy of Joe Namath (grinding up on an older lady), Jets running back Chris Johnson’s dreadlocks and patriarch Archie Manning, because of course.
