silk-satin creation was designed by Donatella Versace, with detailing done by Luigi Massi, master tailor at the Italian house’s couture branch; it embodies the megastar’s simple, sophisticated aesthetic in its clean lines, corseted bodice and full A-line skirt.

“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” Jolie told People magazine. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”
