Lindsay Lohan eying West Village townhouse

LiLo outta SoHo

Care to have Lindsay Lohan on your block? We hear that Lohan’s neighbors at her $16,800-a-month SoHo pad — that Oprah Winfrey was reportedly paying for — have been complaining about noise so much that the actress may soon be forced out.

As she begins to house-hunt, yet again, Lohan checked out 9 Commerce St., a townhouse that was recently renovated by developer Steve Ostad. The 21-foot-wide, 2,800-square-foot, three-story home is asking $6.95 million.

It comes with three outdoor spaces, including a ground-floor patio, a Juliet balcony that overlooks the garden and a rooftop sundeck. Listing brokers Tal and Oren Alexander, of Douglas Elliman, declined to comment.

‘Sex’ sells

Emmy-nominated director Michael Engler has nailed New York on hit shows including “Sex and the City” and “30 Rock.” Now his West Chelsea apartment is on the market for $5.69 million.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse comes with 1,000 square feet of outdoor space. The building is the historic Heywood — a former printing factory at 263 Ninth Ave. which converted into loft homes in 2005 to 2006.

The architect who renovated the unit was the artist Roy McMakin, of Domestic Architecture, whose partner is the unit’s listing broker, Stribling’s Steven A. Sumser.

Now that Engler has perfected directing NYC-based hit shows, he has gone on to London where, we hear, he is the first American to direct an episode of “Downton Abbey.”

London developer Christian Candy has put the former Knoedler & Company art gallery, which collapsed following a major art fraud scandal in 2009, on the market for $55 million.

Candy bought the mansion, at 19 E. 70th St., in 2013 for $35 million — two years after the shuttered gallery sold it for $31 million.

Candy then worked hard to obtain city permission to morph the commercially zoned building back into its original state as a single-family mansion. In March, Candy filed plans with the city to transform the space.

Then, just a few weeks ago, his brokers — Corcoran’s Louis Buckworth and Maria Pashby — quietly informed select brokers that the 30-foot-wide, 17,000-square-foot building was for sale. Sources say there is already a buyer in play.

Experts say it will cost an additional $25 million to renovate the building, which is on the same block as the Frick Collection.

Real estate watchers are wondering if Candy’s decision to sell now — instead of going through with the renovation himself — has to do with the Frick’s expansion plans, which may end up blocking some of the Candy building’s views.

The Wolf of Pond Road

Have you ever wondered where TV and movie stars stay after they wrap up a night clubbing in the Hamptons?

Last Saturday, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kevin Connolly were spotted at 1Oak in Southampton — separate from where a reality TV crew was filming Scott Disick celebrating his birthday without his pregnant wife, Kourtney Kardashian.

DiCaprio and Connolly then stayed the night at 1095 Head of Pond Road, an 11,000-square-foot Tuscan villa-style beach mansion in Water Mill that is owned by private equity honcho Irfan Verjee.

The roomy modern mansion includes an open, double-height living room, a formal dining room and an eat-in kitchen. There’s also an infinity pool with a spa, a tennis court and a home gym.

It’s on the market for $5.95 million, listed by Douglas Elliman’s Tal and Oren Alexander.
