Alleged ‘Molly killer’ caught after crashing into PA cop car

An alleged gunman who cops believe is the city’s first killer to be hopped up on the club drug Molly was busted in Pennsylvania after crashing into a police car, sources told The Post on Friday.

Dwight Reid, 42, allegedly shot Calvern Wallace, 33, in the head at point-blank range in PJ’s Bar in Harlem on Jan. 8 and then disappeared.

But he resurfaced in late May when cops in Harrisburg pulled him over and noticed that he appeared drunk, sources said.

Reid, who has done three stints in prison on burglary and robbery convictions, allegedly sped off, and cops gave chase.

Minutes later, he allegedly crashed into a police cruiser and was arrested after a short foot chase.

He posted $50,000 bail and was ordered to appear in a Harrisburg court to face the charges on June 4.

Meanwhile, investigators in New York City did a random computer check on Reid and learned of the Pennsylvania bust.

The NYPD contacted the Harrisburg district attorney and cut a deal in which city detectives would arrest Reid for the alleged murder on the day he was to appear in court.

Minutes before the hearing, NYPD detectives grabbed Reid, who waived extradition and was brought back to New York City that day. He was indicted on murder charges five days later.
