Wide receivers make sense for Jets in Round 2

How about some offense?

The Jets took a defensive player in the first round Thursday for the fifth straight year, drafting Louisville safety Calvin Pryor. So this feels like a time to get some offensive players. The Jets have two picks on Friday, the 17th pick in the second round and the 16th in the third round.

Here are some possible targets for the Jets in Friday night’s second round:

Wide receivers

Marqise Lee, USC; Davante Adams, Fresno State; Jordan Matthews, Vanderbilt; Allen Robinson, Penn State; Cody Latimer, Indiana

Tight ends

Jace Amaro, Texas Tech; Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington; Troy Niklas, Notre Dame

Outside linebackers

Demarcus Lawrence, Boise State; Jeremiah Attaoch, Georgia Tech; Kyle Van Noy, BYU
