Patrice Wilson, the evil genius behind former viral sensations such as Rebecca Black’s “Friday” and Alison Gold’s “Chinese Food,” is back with a new single.
The topic of his latest creation? Cupcakes, of course.
Gina Naomi Baez, whom we can only assume was conned by Wilson into agreeing to this video, serenades viewers of the video with the song’s pedestrian refrain of “Give me one of those cupcakes.”
Again, Wilson is courting controversy, given the childhood obesity epidemic sweeping the nation.
But there’s a positive message here, too. While binging on cupcakes can pack on the pounds, Baez doesn’t hesitate to proclaim, “I’m curvy in my hips, but it’s OK.”
Finally, a video that doesn’t shame me for my love of cupcakes, consequences be damned.
