Tuesday, 10 p.m. — NBC

NBC
Drew (Brendan Fehr) longs for the return of his boyfriend, Rick (Luke MacFarlane) from his overseas deployment, but things go terribly wrong as a horrific crash sends badly wounded soldiers, including Rick, into the emergency room. Drew struggles to keep his relationship under wraps with TC’s (Eoin Macken) help, as they both try to save Rick. Meanwhile, Topher (Ken Leung) struggles to diagnose a soldier’s illness, as Krista (Jeananne Goossen) fends off the flirtations of young soldiers in the ER, and Paul (Robert Bailey, Jr.) must contend with their good-natured teasing because he looks so young. Kenny (JR Lemon) discovers Ragosa’s (Freddy Rodriguez) online dating profile and offers to butch up his lover-boy profile.

2 . True Blood

The Bellefleur hostages find a possible liberator. Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) turns to Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) to channel her family past. Pam’s (Kristin Bauer van Straten) search for her maker leads to a familiar place.

3. Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular

Friday, 8 p.m. — NBC

You know the drill. Fireworks. Marching bands. And then some performers. Ariana Grande, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert and Lionel Richie (Lionel Richie?) sing their patriotic hearts out on the 4th of July waterfront extravaganza.

4. Reckless

Sunday, 9 p.m. — CBS

AP
A good ol’ boy lawyer (Cam Gigandet) clashes with a Yankee litigator (Anna Wood) over an unlawful dismissal case in the summer soap “Reckless.” Set in the sultry city of Charleston, SC, this new drama features tight skirts, low-slung jeans, general shirtlessness and, in the premiere, role-play between a troublemaking cop (Shawn Hatosy) and his naive playmate (Georgina Haig), also on the force. A video submitted as evidence in her lawsuit contains footage that, when restored, is bound to enrage the overly confident prosecutor. Co-starring Kim Wayans.

5. The Leftovers

Sunday, 10 p.m. — HBO

HBO
Two percent of the world’s population has disappeared when “The Leftovers,” a new series based on a Tom Perrotta novel, kicks off. Was it the Rapture that took Anthony Bourdain, Jennifer Lopez and Bonnie Raitt from the planet? Those are just some of the celebs who vanish from sight. But what about the little people? Just ask Mapleton, NY, Police Chief Kevin Garvey (Justin Theroux). The three years that have elapsed since the Sudden Departure, as October 14 has been called, do not sit well with him, primarily because his wife has joined a cult called the Guilty Remnant, which silently protests the determination by town leaders, including the mayor (Amanda Warren), to carry on. This is one weird show, from the creator of “Lost.” Co-starring Amy Brenneman and Liv Tyler.

6. Under the Dome

Monday, 10 p.m. — CBS

Somehow, the folks on “Under the Dome” are still alive, despite the lack of oxygen and Fresh Direct delivery. Now, it appears that the dome is magnetized. Meanwhile, Julia (Rachelle LeFevre) seeks the help of a stranger to save a girl who may hold clues to the dome’s origin, while poor Barbie’s (Mike Vogel) fate lies in Big Jim’s (Dean Norris) hands. Co-starring Natalie Martinez and Alexander Koch.

7. Vicious

Sunday, 10:30 p.m. — PBS

Oh, to be old and gay in England! Stuart (Derek Jacobi) and Freddie (Ian McKellen) have lived together for nearly half a century. Apartments being what they are in London (small, cramped), the two queens are always at each other’s throats, making snide remarks aimed at the other’s age, appearance and flaws. However, underneath this backbiting, they share a deep love. Thank God their best friend Violet (Frances de la Tour) and upstairs neighbor Ash (Iwan Rheon) come to visit.

8. Taxi Brooklyn

Wednesday, 10 p.m. — NBC

NBC
Handbag designer Sasha Lowenthal (Phyllis Somerville) asks Cat (Chyler Leigh) to investigate the disappearance of her son, Ian, an infamous socialite hell-raiser. When Cat and Leo (Jacky Ido) find Ian murdered, their investigation exposes a world of high society ripe with family secrets. A betrayal leads to Leo’s arrest by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers.
