Motorcyclist killed in crash with city bus

A motorcyclist was killed in a Brooklyn city bus crash Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The biker, 26, was heading south in Canarsie on Ralph Avenue when he collided with a B6 bus turning left onto Glenwood Road at about 10:40 a.m., according to the MTA.

He suffered severe trauma to the body, and died at Brookdale Hospital shortly after. His name was not released pending family notification.

An elderly bus rider, 75, suffered minor injuries and was also treated at Brookdale Hospital.

The 38-year-old bus driver stayed on the scene, and the crash is still under investigation.

It is the sixth fatal collision involving an MTA bus this year.

Two pedestrians have been killed so far this year, as well as a veteran driver who had his bus rammed by a stolen truck allegedly driven by model Tyson Beckford’s nephew.
