Matthäus’ model ex-wife busted in massive credit card fraud

The model ex-wife of World Cup champion soccer legend Lothar Matthäus was arrested Wednesday after she used an old boyfriend’s credit card to buy thousands of dollars of clothes and airline tickets.

Ukrainian stunner Christina Lilliana Matthäus snagged an old flame’s credit card before using it to go on a shopping spree at a Bergdorf Goodman department store in Midtown last month, buying clothes and accessories.

She then used the card to jet-set over to Europe on Lufthansa Airline to meet up with another man before returning to New York, where she was arrested and charged with several counts of grand larceny.

She was arraigned Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court looking as if she were about to hit the runway, wearing black leather pants.

The Ukrainian beauty married Matthäus in 2008 before the two began living apart in 2010, according to published reports.

Matthäus, has played for and coached some of Europe’s clubs, and even led the West German national team to victory in to 1990 World Cup.
