It’s the last, last call at Columbus 72 nightclub

It’s the end of an era on the Upper West Side at Columbus 72, a nightclub at — you guessed it — Columbus Avenue and 72nd Street.

It held the last cabaret license on the Upper West Side, an area that was once filled with nightclubs, such as the China Club.

Madonna filmed one of her first videos at the location that was once known as the Star Club. Its last owners were Marc Glazer and his partner, Copacabana’s John Juliano.

While the Upper West Side’s club era is over, the 7,000 square-foot space, with two dance floors and two lounges, could work well as a sports bar, said Rafe Evans, of Walker Malloy, who is marketing the location.

The East Village is getting a new pasta restaurant — with a twist.

San Marzano, from brothers Kamran and David Malekan, is all about custom, or “personalized” pasta, where customers choose their homemade pasta and sauces.

Pasta selections span the gamut in shapes and styles, with whole wheat and gluten-free offerings, while sauces run from wild boar ragu to carbonara.

The 65-seat 1930s-style bistro at 117 Second Ave. is 2,000 square feet and includes a bar with 10 seats.

The previous San Marzano on Clinton Street in the Lower East Side specialized in brick-oven pizza. It closed in January due to flooding from a burst pipe.

WE HEAR … that chef-restaurateur Gaurav Anand has launched a prix fixe $16 brunch menu at Awadh, a top Indian restaurant that opened in June on the Upper West Side at 2588 Broadway and is known for its “dum pukht,” or slow-cooked, northern Indian-style specialties.
