Woman indicted in ‘botched butt-enhancement’ death

An unlicensed beautician was indicted Thursday in the death of a client from a botched butt-enhancement injection she performed at a seedy Meatpacking District hotel.

Tamira Mobley, 28, is criminally charged with manslaughter and felony assault after pumping silicone into Tamara Blaine’s rear end at the Liberty Inn Hotel last summer.

Mobley’s appearance was waived Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court but her mother stilled showed up to support her. She and Mobley’s defense lawyer, Dwane Smith, declined to comment.

Mobley allegedly met the victim, a single mom from Queens, July 8 at the hot-sheets hotel, which rents by the hour.

The procedure went horribly awry and Blaine was left on the bed barely conscious.

Mobley stuck around long enough to tell EMTs that Blaine, 22, had suffered a seizure but then took off, authorities said.

Mobley, of Wood-Ridge, NJ, has other clients but none appear to have met the same, tragic fate.

Blaine was taken to Roosevelt Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Her death was not ruled a homicide until October after the medical examiner determined the cause of death.

An autopsy showed that Blaine died from the injection, authorities have said, which sent silicone into her veins, asphyxiating her and causing her to lose consciousness.

It wasn’t Blaine’s first time meeting with Mobley, who she paid $500 to $800 on around six different occasions, sources said.

The unlicensed cosmetologist is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
