Construction worker dies after forklift falls on his chest

A construction worker was killed in Queens Tuesday when a forklift fell on his chest, cops said.

The 55-year-old man was with another worker inside a warehouse on 56th Drive near 58th Place when the forklift suddenly crashed on top of the him around 10:30 a.m., cops said.

EMS rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital where he later died, cops said.

The identity of the man is pending family notification.
