Teen vs parents court battle spawns dueling Facebook pages

The entitled teen who is suing her parents for tuition money has been making the most of her 15 minutes of fame by waging an Internet war against her mom and dad in the name of education.

Rachel Canning, 18, of New Jersey launched a fan page on Facebook yesterday called “Education for Rachel,” with the slogan “Money for education, that’s all.”

“This page is dedicated to support my cause for legally requesting my education tuition to be fully paid by my parents,” the Morris Catholic HS senior wrote in the page description.

Despite the apparent plea for cash, Rachel told The Post she will “never” start asking for donations.

The page had nearly 300 Facebook likes.

A rival page called “In support for Sean and Elizabeth Canning” was created shortly after Rachel’s. It’s unclear who created the page which has about 278 likes.

Sean Canning declined Wednesday to discuss the lawsuit, but repeated his hopes of “reuniting” as a family.

A judge on Tuesday denied Rachel’s emergency motion to have her parents pay her remaining tuition at Morris Catholic.

Rachel has been living with a friend’s family since leaving her parents’ Lincoln Park home last October.

Rachel, who has a 3.5 GPA this school year and a career 3.44 according to papers filed by her lawyers, said she wants the court to force her parents to release a college fund they have set aside for her.
