“American Horror Story: Freak Show” officially has a premiere date and its first teaser video.
The fourth installment of the FX anthology series will debut on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m.
“Freak Show” will begin its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Fla., in 1952, when a troupe of curiosities arrives in town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of locals and freaks alike.
According to the show description, “This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”
Stars Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson and Angela Bassett are all back for “Freak Show,” with Michael Chiklis joining the cast this season.
And if the super-short, 10-second teaser is any indication, the “AHS” cast will also include…chickens.
