Father of teen charged with manslaughter busted for theft

The father of the teen charged with manslaughter for fatally running over 4-year-old Ariel Russo as he fled police in his parents’ SUV is now in trouble himself — accused of stealing a dead woman’s belongings.

Franklin Reyes Sr., the superintendent at 252 W. 21st St., went into a third-floor apartment to fix a water leak, law-enforcement sources said. But instead, the alleged thief swiped the unidentified woman’s valuables, including $2,000 in cash, the sources said.

Reyes Sr., was arraigned Friday on petit-larceny charges in Manhattan Criminal Court.
