Unapologetic pizza-delivery boy rapist gets 13-year jail sentence

An unapologetic pizza-delivery boy who raped an Upper West Side woman while her 7-year-old daughter slept next to her in bed was sentenced Monday to 13 years behind bars — as the victim said she’ll try to forgive but will never forget the dreadful violation.

“Your honor, he has violated me and my family. He turned my life around,” a visibly shaken Kia Graves told Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Thomas Farber, as convicted rapist Cesar Lucas showed no emotion.

“To forgive sounds good. To forget — I’m not sure I could.”

Lucas, 18, admitted to sneaking into the former actress’ apartment in September 2012 after delivering a pizza from his dad’s restaurant to another person on her floor. He claimed he carried out the attack because he was “feeling horny.” He fled with an iPhone and $20 he callously took from the little girl’s wallet.

Graves bravely addressed her attacker in court, her eyes welling with tears at times.

“They say time heals everything but I’m still waiting. I’m not ready to make nice and I’m not ready to back down. I’m still angry, sad and hurt, your honor,” Graves said, reading from a notebook. “He deserves everything the court is sentencing him to today.

“That being said, I feel sorry for him, but I must forgive him to move on with my life. Thank you,” she added.

Lucas, who was 16 when he raped Graves, only said, “No, thank you,” when asked if he wanted to speak before his sentencing. He didn’t make eye contact with his mother and sister, who sat in the audience.

Despite his lack of apology, Lucas’ lawyer, Gary Villanueva, insisted, “He’s a remorseful young man from a caring, decent and solid family.”

In a bizzare hand-written confession, Lucas tried to claim Graves was “completely drunk” and that he had “this type of feelings he had never felted before which led him to do things he would never think he would do in his life.”

“I unrap her from all the coushing she had on top of her . . . She also started to feel horny, you can say,” the illiterate confession read. “She was completely drunk. I really was pretty scare because she was drunk and I kind ah took advantage of her.”

Lucas was also arrested in August 2012 for stealing another woman’s wallet when he entered her apartment after delivering pizza to her neighbor, cops said.

In April, he pleaded guilty to rape, as well as two counts of burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. In addition to jail time, the sicko received 20 years’ post-release supervision.
