â–  Three would-be thieves walked away empty-handed from two bank break-in jobs, cops said.

The hapless trio first pried open the rear door of a Citibank branch on Utica Avenue near Lenox Road at about 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.

They tried unsuccessfully to get into teller cash drawers and then fled.

The following day, they set off a security alarm at an M&T branch on Atlantic Avenue at 5:30 a.m. — and fled, cops said.

■ A woman plunged scissors into her brother’s chest early Saturday in her Bushwick home, cops said.

The siblings were in her apartment on Central Avenue near Woodbine Street at 2:30 a.m. when the 37-year-old woman stabbed her brother in the chest and shoulder, police said.

The victim was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening wounds.

The woman was taken into custody at the scene, cops said.

It wasn’t immediately clear what spurred the stabbing, and a relative in the apartment said he slept through the assault.


 Manhattan

â–  A 43-year-old man was stabbed multiple times by a man he had just met in the East Village, cops said.

The victim invited the man to his apartment on East Seventh Street near Avenue D Saturday at about 7:30 a.m., according to police.

It wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the violence, in which the assailant, believed to be in his 20s, plunged a knife into the victim’s arm and back multiple times, cops said.

The stabber, last seen wearing a red T-shirt, stands about 5-foot-9.

The victim was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital in serious but stable condition, authorities said.


 Queens

â–  A burglar has broken into at least two dozen homes in College Point since March, cops said.

He most recently struck on June 13 at about 9 p.m. on 123rd Street near 11th Avenue, police said.

He burglarized two homes on that block, snatching an iPad, jewelry and cash, cops said.

He has also burglarized homes from 112th to 127th streets between Seventh and 18th avenues, cops said.

On May 25, he burglarized a home on 127th Street near Seventh Avenue and stole $5,000 worth of copper piping and $3,000 in cash.

He returned the following day and burglarized another home on the block and fled with jewelry, cops said.

His largest known haul was in March, when he walked through the front door of a home and fled with electronics, jewelry and about $15,000 in ­domestic and foreign currency, cops said.

He is described as an Asian male, 24 to 40 years old and 170 to 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a green, hooded sweat shirt with a zipper in the front, blue jeans and blue sneakers.

He was seen on video surveillance at a home he burglarized in May.
