Customer found screw in chocolate: lawsuit

A man claims he was screwed by a famed Manhattan candy shop when he bit into one while chewing a piece of chocolate.

Ebrahim Noorani is suing Dylan’s Candy Bar on Third Avenue, claiming that while chowing down on a piece of white chocolate he was “seriously injured” by the metal screw, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed last week.

The screwy incident left Noorani “wounded in . . . various parts of his head,” and left him with “severe and extreme mental shock, anguish and psychic injuries,” he claims.

Noorani is seeking unspecified damages.

Dylan’s Candy Bar, which was launched by famed designer Ralph Lauren’s daughter Dylan Lauren in 2001, did not respond to a request for comment.
