Pizza delivery guy enjoys Oscars cameo

The Academy Award for Best Delivery goes to . . . Edgar, the pizza guy.

Pizza-shop owner Edgar Martirosyan became the award-show ceremony’s most talked-about participant not named John Travolta when he showed up with about 20 hand-tossed pies.

Martirosyan from Big Mama’s and Papa’s Pizzeria sauntered onstage at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater with the pies before host Ellen DeGeneres, carrying a stack of paper plates, brought him down to the front row.

“I didn’t imagine I am going to Oscars to deliver pizzas for the stars,” Martirosyan, the owner, told Inside Edition.

His biggest thrill was seeing “Pretty Woman” star Julia Roberts up close.

“That was one of my most favorite actresses and when I handed her pizza . . . that was something else,” he said.

After Jared Leto and company got their cheese fix, Ellen passed around singer Pharrell’s famously oversized hat for the tip.

Then the host called out Harvey Weinstein and told him to give Martirosyan “whatever you think is right” because there were “only a billion people watching.”

Thanks to the generosity of Weinstein, Brad Pitt and others, nearly $300 was collected.

Martirosyan’s delivery blew up on social media, as did Travolta, after he garbled the name of Broadway icon Idina Menzell, whose song from “Frozen” won the Oscar anyway.

The pizza pusher wasn’t dressed for the red carpet — in an apron, a red baseball cap and a hoodie.

Right after his appearance, business picked way up.

The next day, the shop’s Web site crashed.

Its Instagram page now features Pitt biting into a slice, and Kerry Washington with an entire box.
