Police are looking for a gunman who fired off several rounds in Soundview and fled, according to police.

The suspect pulled the weapon in the rear stairwell of a building on Castle Hill Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and shot into the back door several times, cops said. No one was struck.

The alleged assailant is believed to be in his 20s, about 6-foot-1 with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, camouflage shorts and white sneakers.

Brooklyn

A 22-year-old man was found mortally wounded with a gunshot wound to the back at a Coney Island building, police said.

Victor Rosado, 22, was found in the courtyard of a building on West 21st Street at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

He was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival said law-enforcement authorities.

Police did not have a suspect or a motive, but Rosado had several prior arrests for drug possession and robbery, sources said.


A man was critically injured in a drive-by shooting in Flatbush, authorities said.

A white, two-door BMW rolled up on the 28-year-old victim on Bedford Avenue near Albemarle Road just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, and a gunman in the luxury auto opened fire, according to cops.

The victim took several bullets to the torso and was rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.

The BMW fled westbound on Albemarle Road, cops said.

Manhattan

A robber who has employed a chokehold on two victims in Central Park is on the loose, police said.

The first incident occurred a little after midnight on Monday when the thug approached a 47-year-old man from behind and applied the chokehold to bring him down to the ground, cops said.

The robber then stole the victim’s backpack, which contained $7 in cash, a debit card and two credit cards, according to police.

The thug suspect used the same method to rob another 47-year-old man shortly before 12:30 a.m. Wednesday near East 74th Street and East Drive, cops said.

That time, he made off with $140 in cash and a debit card, according to ­police.

The suspect stands about 6-foot-5.


Store employees saw something fishy when a man tried to walk out of a South Street Seaport store with $1,000 worth of cologne for which he hadn’t paid, authorities said.

Richard Farmer, 33, strolled into Abercrombie & Fitch at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, put 14 bottles of fragrance into a bag, walked past the registers and made his way to the exit, sources said.

He was arrested and charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

Farmer previously has been busted for theft and other charges, sources said.


A sexagenarian was arrested for stealing a tip jar from a popular waterfront restaurant in Chelsea, authorities said.

Jay Steinberg, 61, snatched employees’ gratuity cash at the Frying Pan on the Hudson River at Chelsea Piers and West 26th Street at about 8:40 p.m. last Saturday, police sources said.

He ran off with about $112 and was seen on video surveillance, sources said. He was caught and charged with petit larceny.


A patron at a celeb nightclub was busted after he failed to pay a four-figure tab, sources said.

The 54-year-old man was charged with theft of services over the $3,429 bill at 1Oak on Sunday.

For undisclosed reasons, the charges were later dropped, the sources said.


A thief stole an Australian tourist’s $7,000 camera from a Chelsea Hotel room, sources said.

The 34-year-old victim was sharing the space with four pals from Down ­Under when he went out for a night on the town on
Aug. 14, sources added.

The following day, he discovered that the high-end Canon he had stashed ­under his bed was gone.


A thief stole a pricey road bike from a storage area in a West Side apartment building, cops said.

The 44-year-old owner of the $1,400 Raleigh Furley 57cm left it in a common area of the West 21st building on July 25 and went on vacation, authorities said.

When he returned on Aug. 11, it was gone.

All tenants in the building had access to the bike, sources said.
