Woman killed after car jumps curb in NYC

A driver with a suspended license jumped a curb and killed a female pedestrian and injured a second woman on Staten Island on Monday afternoon, cops said.

The 23-year-old man drove his Honda Accord into both victims at the corner of Hylan Boulevard and Cleveland Avenue around 1:45 p.m.

The 31-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 20-year-old injured victim was rushed to Staten Island University North Hospital in critical condition.

The driver remained at the scene but was arrested for driving on a suspended license, police said.
