If you thought they’d never find an actor deep enough to play Mario Lopez, think again.
The “Saved by the Bell” movie is almost here — it premieres Sept. 1 on Lifetime — but today the Wrap has a trailer of the cast trying to behave during a photo shoot, and another scene where the studio execs stress the importance of being a professional at the studio.
With this crowd — Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Dustin Diamond and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen — it seems that was no small feat.
“Saved by the Bell” aired on NBC from 1989 to 1983. The cast includes Dylan Everett as Gosselaar, Sam Kindseth as Diamond, Julian Works as Lopez, Alyssa Lynch as Thiessen, Tiera Skovbye as Berkley and Taylor Russell McKenzie as Lark Voorhies.
