The Giants will not tender fullback Henry Hynoski a contract in restricted free agency, Pro Football Talk reported Monday.
Hynoski suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in September last year, and the Giants signed former Jets draft pick John Conner to play fullback.
Even if the Giants do not tender Hynoski, they could re-sign him at a price lower than the $1.323 million it would cost to tender him as a restricted free agent.
The 25-year-old has played in 30 games over three seasons for the Giants. He has five rushes for 20 yards and 24 receptions for 138 yards and a touchdown.
