Jacko fan burned by hot wax at Madame Tussauds: suit

A devoted Michael Jackson fan says she got royally burned when she visited a replica of the late King of Pop at the Madame Tussauds museum in Times Square.

Bronx resident Tahkyia Brady is now suing the famed wax museum for her injuries, which she says included second-degree burns suffered when she paid to get a wax cast made of her hand.

The 34-year-old woman visited the tourist attraction, where celebs and dignitaries from Marilyn Monroe to Nelson Mandela have wax replicas on display, to see a lifelike model of her music idol.

On her Facebook profile Brady says Jackson “was my everything growing up. He truly is another part of me. I can’t explain the passion I feel about him.”

She’s suing for unspecified damages in Bronx Supreme Court.

But a museum spokeswoman was suspicious of Brady’s claims.

“Ms. Brady was offered medical treatment on site and declined,” the spokeswoman said.

She added, “The safety of our patrons is the first consideration at Madame Tussauds in New York.”
