5 pucking great pastries in honor of the Rangers

The Big Apple’s top restaurants and bakeries are sweet on the Rangers’ Stanley Cup chances against the Los Angeles Kings, who they take on Saturday night.

In honor of the Blueshirts’ first trip to the Stanley Cup finals in 20 years, the chefs are slinging some red, white and blue treats for the faithful. They’re all bound to be pucking delicious.

Dominique Ansel Bakery

The pastry world’s Willy Wonka is showing his Rangers pride by creating a strawberry balsamic and mascarpone Cronut topped with a swirl of red, white and blue icing. Monday morning starting at 7:30, Chef Ansel will join Rangers greats Ron Duguay, Adam Graves and Glenn Anderson to meet fans as they wait on line for the delectable puck-shape treat.
