‘Sons of Anarchy’ casts Marilyn Manson as white supremacist

The FX biker drama “Sons of Anarchy” has cast shock-rocker Marilyn Manson in a recurring role for its upcoming season.

After grabbing the attention of series creator Kurt Sutter, Manson booked the part of Ron Tully, a white supremacist prison shot-caller whom Jax (Charlie Hunnam) uses to expand his power base.

“‘Sons’ has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” Manson said in a statement. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of ‘SOA’ is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

Manson — who is also launching a world tour in Russia in June — has made several previous TV and film cameos, including in “Jawbreaker,” “Eastbound & Down” and “Once Upon a Time.” He also performed the opening credits theme for the WGN America drama “Salem.”

The seventh and final season of “Sons of Anarchy” premieres on FX in September.
