Body found in river could be man who jumped in with roses

A man’s naked body was found floating in the Harlem River off the shore of Roberto Clemente State Park in Morris Heights on Thursday, near where a nude guy was seen jumping into the water with a bouquet of roses clenched in his teeth last week.

Before the man ran into the water Saturday, he left a large burgundy urn etched with the name of someone who died in June 2007 next to his pile of clothes.

The body was found floating around 8:30 a.m., cops said. There were no immediate signs of trauma.

Cops are waiting for the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death and to establish the victim’s identity.
