Man charged in strangling death of his brother

The brother of a Bronx teen found strangled to death in his apartment three years ago has been arrested, cops said Saturday night.

Gavin Williams, 25, was charged with murder for the strangulation death of his brother, Alex Williams, who was found by their father unconscious and bleeding from his nose in their Bronx Boulevard apartment building back in May 2011, cops said.

Police believe an argument sparked the fatal attack, but were unsure what the nature of the argument was.

“He and his brother were completely at odds,” one friend of Alex told The Post in 2011 after Gavin was taken in for questioning. “They were like cats and dogs.”
