Off duty cop killed in motorcycle crash

An off duty cop was killed in a motorcycle accident in Queens Monday afternoon, sources said.

The police officer from the 103rd Precinct collided with a Chrysler Concorde as he was traveling down Linden Boulevard in Jamaica just before 5 p.m. sources said.

The driver of the sedan was apparently trying to make a turn onto 158th Street when the officer plowed into the car, sending his body flying into the air.

“He was face down and wasn’t moving, he was breathing but he wasn’t moving,” said witness Al Brown, 26. “He was laying about 10 feet away from his bike.”

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition where he later died.

The driver of the Chrysler remained on scene. It was unclear if he would be charged with a crime.

The Post is withholding the officer’s name pending family notification.
