A body was discovered floating in the Hudson River near Staten Island, cops said.
The man was discovered floating near Bay Street and Anchor Place in the St. George area Thursday around 8 a.m., according to police.
The NYPD Harbor Unit transported the body to the bay where he was pronounced him dead, cops said.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The identity of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
