â–  A convicted sex offender tried to sexually assault a woman in the elevator of her Astoria apartment building on June 2, cops said.

The suspect, identified as Elvis McKenzie, 27, allegedly punched the 57-year-old woman in the face before the alleged attack, cops said. He fled the scene.

The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.

McKenzie served three years in state prison after he sexually abused a 26-year-old woman in White Plains, where he was arrested in 2007, records show.

In May 2012 McKenzie and a couple of his pals sliced a man’s throat with a boxcutter during a robbery, police sources said.

He also punched a correction officer in the face at Rikers Island in August 2012, the sources added.

â–  A creep followed a 47-year-old woman into her apartment building on Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills on June 3.

Then he allegedly grabbed her from behind and tried to sexually assault her.

But after throwing her to the ground in the lobby, he apparently got cold-feet and ran off, authorities said.

The woman suffered minor injuries to her arm and knee and was treated at Elmhurst Hospital.

â–  A thief snatched a cellphone from a woman in Rego Park, authorities said.

The victim, 21, was walking on Junction Boulevard alongside the Rego Park Center mall at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday when the man accosted her.

He ripped the phone from her hand and fled, officials said. The suspect was last seen wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt.


Manhattan

■ Two burglars stole a purse from a Lower East Side apartment and used the victim’s credit card in a $900 shopping spree, ­authorities said.

The thieves entered the unlocked apartment in the building on Henry Street at about 8 a.m. May 30 and walked out with the pocketbook, according to authorities.

The duo later used the victim’s credit card in a 7-Eleven on Broadway near East 12th Street and a Michael Kors store, cops said.

One suspect has black hair and wore a dark jacket over a light-colored shirt. His accomplice was last seen wearing a backward baseball cap.

â–  Police yesterday released video surveillance of a man who robbed a Tribeca bank and fled with cash.

The suspect walked into a Capital One branch on West Broadway near Chambers Street and demanded cash from a teller around 1:40 p.m. April 19, according to police. He fled with an unknown amount of money, cops said.

He is believed to be in his mid-20s and was last seen wearing a Giants cap, gray hoodie and shades.


Brooklyn

â–  An armed man is wanted for a shooting and three robberies in Crown Heights.

Cops say Sundance ­Oliver, 19, began his spree on May 23, when he stole a young woman’s phone at gunpoint.

Three days later, Oliver allegedly grabbed a man’s cash off a deli counter on Bergen Street.

When the man asked for his money back from the counter, police say Sundance drew his gun and shot the man.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

On May 26, police say Oliver and four other men stole a cellphone at gunpoint from a man.
