Subway train strikes and kills man at Grand Central

A man leaped to his death this afternoon in front of a subway train at Grand Central station this afternoon, police sources said.

The rider was struck by the Times Square-bound 7 about 1:15 p.m., and the first three cars went over his body, authorities said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

All entrances to the line at the Grand Central station were closed, and 7 train service between Times Square and Queensboro Plaza was briefly suspended.
