Food Network chef suffers harm from bleach in eyedrops: lawsuit

A consulting chef for The Food Network and Bravo TV can no longer stand the heat in the kitchen after he was nearly blinded by CVS-brand eyedrops that contained bleach instead of saline, according to his New Jersey lawsuit.

“It hurts constantly,” Gregg Schwack, 48, told The Post.

He bought the sealed container of drops in an Edgewater, NJ, CVS last March to relieve itchy eyes caused by allergies and immediately felt a burning sensation after he applied the solution.

The Fort Lee dad has not been able to return to work because he still suffers from blisters, swelling and puffing from the chemical burn, according to court papers filed by his attorney, Rosemarie Arnold.

A rep for CVS declined to comment.
