‘Tonight Show’ proves Bradley Cooper is bad at charades

Bradley Cooper may have two Academy Award acting nominations, but as he proved on Wednesday night’s “Tonight Show” his acting skills haven’t made him a very good charades player.

As part of Jimmy Fallon’s first week as the host of NBC’s late-night talk show, the former “SNL” star organized a game of charades pitting Cooper and Emma Thompson against Tim McGraw and himself.

Considering that half of charades involves pantomiming a word or phrase for one’s partner to guess, one would think that the team of actors would have had a leg up on the musician and host.

Unfortunately for Thompson and Cooper, that did not prove true. Though there were plenty of mistakes made by both sides, Cooper’s inability to guess two of Thompson’s expertly pantomimed hints cost their team dearly.

Regardless, fun was had by all, and it was confirmed once and for all that no matter who plays charades, they just end up looking silly.
