■ Cops are looking for the assailant who fatally shot a man on a Morningside Heights street Thursday.

The 33-year-old victim was outside an apartment building on Morningside Avenue near 123rd Street at 8:30 p.m. when a gunman walked up and shot him in the head and shoulder, police said.

The victim, whose name was withheld pending family notification, was rushed to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died.

Police do not yet have a motive in the brazen ­slaying.

■ A Manhattan teacher was arrested Friday after sexually abusing a student for five months, police said.

Richard Jenkins, 41, allegedly slapped the buttocks of the 13-year-old girl on several occasions while he was teaching gym and social studies at PS 206 in East Harlem from September 2012 to January 2013.

He was arrested Friday at a Department of Education facility in the Fordham section of The Bronx on charges of forcible touching and sexual abuse.

Jenkins, whose salary as a city teacher is $76,306 a year, was suspended from his job.

The Bronx

■ A man was shot dead and another wounded Thursday when a gunman ambushed them in a Fordham apartment building, cops said.

The assailant accosted the 20- and 34-year-old victims on the second floor of an apartment building on Vyse Avenue near East 181st Street at 8:50 p.m., cops said.

He pumped bullets into the torso of the 20-year-old and the leg of the other victim. The younger man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 34-year-old was rushed to Saint Barnabus Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

Investigators were trying to piece together a motive.

■ A triggerman shot a shopper in a Soundview bodega Wed­nesday, cops said.

The unidentified suspect, wearing a black hat, black jacket and blue jeans, strolled into the deli on Castle Hill Avenue near Chatterton Avenue at around noon and shot the 26-year-old victim twice in the back, police said.

The victim was being treated at Montefiore Hospital and was expected to survive, cops said.

■ Two thugs assaulted and robbed a woman in University Heights, cops said.

The 26-year-old victim was at West 182nd Street and Jerome Avenue at 6:10 p.m. on Feb. 27 when the duo grabbed her from behind and put her in a choke hold, cops said.

The men pushed her to the ground, grabbed her iPhone and took off on foot, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the culprits nonchalantly strolling down the street waiting for their prey.

One thug was wearing a dark bubble jacket and jeans with leather patches.

The other was dressed in a blue sweatshirt and a gray bubble jacket.

Brooklyn

■ A man was shot dead outside a Brownsville housing project early Friday, cops said.

The unidentified victim, about 21 years old, was cut down behind the Howard Houses on East New York Avenue near St. Marks Avenue at around 12:20 a.m., authorities said.

A gunman came up and shot him twice in the torso for unknown reasons, cops said.

The victim died at Brookdale Hospital.

Staten Island

■ The woman stole a pricey pair of replica ruby red “Wizard of Oz” slippers from a Bulls Head hotel, cops said.

According to police detectives, the blond suspect was seen on surveillance camera as she fled with the sparkling footwar on March 3 just after 2 a.m.

The slippers, which cops valued at about $2,500, were in a display case in the lobby of the Hilton Garden Inn on South Avenue.
