Meet the adorable blogger whose office is stuffed with sex toys

Talk about loving your job. Cara Houiellebecq has 15 orgasms a week on the job and rakes in $27,000 a year for the part-time pleasure.

The Mirror reports that Houiellebecq spends seven hours a week testing sex toys for her blog in the UK.

The 33-year-old mother-of-two has more than 2000 sex toys in her office and gets new arrivals delivered about five times a week.

Cara’s blog became so popular that sex toy companies started paying her two years ago to test products.

“It’s a great job, I’ve worked in a bank before but I’d never go back to that now — it’s never boring,” she said. “Now manufacturers and sellers will ask if they can send stuff to me because so many people read my reviews.”

So what are the best sex toys on the market?

“My friends love to ask me about toys, I’m the person who knows the best ones to use and the cheapest ones to buy,” she said. “My favourite toy is a iGino One which you can charge via USB. I also love the Doxy Wand which is a mains powered magic wand — and I always recommend bullet vibrators.”

Houiellebecq says her partner Darren, 37, doesn’t mind her occupation. The pair met when he worked as an IT consultant for an e-retailer called SexToys.

“My partner doesn’t see it as a threat — we always say that toys are the seasoning to a sex life — not a replacement,” she said. “When I get toys for men he helps me with the testing — it’s a part of our lives now.”

The pair lives with Darren’s mother, which might explain why Houiellebecq is getting her kicks at work.
