Obama’s approval rating sinks even lower: poll

President Obama’s approval rating has sunk to an administration-low 38 percent, Gallup pollsters said Thursday.

It was the seventh time Obama hit the 38 percent mark, the pollsters said, speculating the latest dive may reflect global strife.

“We have the situation in Russia, we have the situation in Syria and we have the situation of Americans being beheaded by ISIS,” said Gallup editor-in-chief Frank Newport.

Since Gallup began keeping track, every president’s approval rating has fallen below 40 percent at times, except Dwight Eisenhower’s and John F. Kennedy’s.
