Aqueduct racino worker knocked out by faulty roulette machine: suit

An unlucky Aqueduct racino worker got bonked on the head by a malfunctioning roulette machine and is suing the maker of the automated game.

Teodora Pasici was starting her shift at the Resorts World Casino in Queens on Aug. 28 when a customer’s ticket got jammed into the roulette machine.

“I went to the machine and the door flew out and hit my head. I blacked out. They said I had a concussion,” said Pasici, who only worked for the Ozone Park gaming palace for eight months.

Pasici is suing the slot machine’s manufacturer, International Game Technology, for an unspecified amount citing negligence.

“They put me into a wheelchair and when I tried to get up I was dizzy, I couldn’t walk,” said Pasici, who was taken to Jamaica Hospital and kept overnight for observation.

The 44-year-old Middle Village woman was put on disability and says she pops 10 to 14 pills — including Oxycodone — daily for constant, throbbing headaches.

Pacisi said she misses working at the casino and isn’t looking for a quick payday.

“I’m just looking to get better,” she said.

International Game Technology did not immediately return a call for comment.
