Queens boy fights back against attempted kidnapper

A creep tried to kidnap a child from a Queens street — but the brave schoolboy refused to be taken.

The 11-year-old boy was waiting for his father around 2:35 p.m. on Friday near the East-West School for International Studies on Colden Street and 45th Avenue in Flushing, when a man pulled up in a dark blue sedan, cops said.

“I was very scared. A guy just comes up and parks right in front of me. I said, Who is this guy?,” Joseph Naranjo told The Post.

The suspect, who cops said was in his 40s, “pulled out a photo of a nice place,” and said, “‘Get in the car, I’ll take you somewhere nice upstate,’” the boy recalled.

“I told him ‘No!’” Joseph said.

The man then got out of the car and grabbed the boy by the hands, trying to drag the terrified child inside.

“He started starting pulling me. I started pulling back, and two minutes later he ran away,” Joseph said. “No one was there I couldn’t ask for help. I was so scared. I was crying.”

The suspect quickly fled northbound on Colden Street, and the boy wasn’t physically harmed, cops said.

Both Joseph and his mom, Andrea, said they’ve seen the suspect’s car in the neighborhood before.

“Since February 20 I have seen that car,” Joseph said. Every time my mom comes he just leaves. It’s every day. I keep asking myself, ‘What is this guy doing?’” Joseph said.

And earlier in the week, his mother also noticed the vehicle.

“On Thursday I was in the car at the hydrant and I parked right behind him. Watching,” she said.

The relieved mom said she’s glad her son abides by her.

“I always tell him, ‘Don’t speak with strangers,’” Andrea Naranjo said.

Cops described the suspect as an Asian man approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with short black hair, brown eyes, dark skin and a goatee.

The man was last seen wearing a blue multi-colored sweat shirt and brown slacks, said police, who have also released a sketch — which received Joseph’s endorsement.

“It looks exactly like him,” the boy said.
