‘Black Hitler’: Alleged hooker made the whole thing up

A self-proclaimed “black Hitler” who is facing rape, assault and promoting prostitution charges for allegedly beating up a hooker and pimping out five women on the web site Backpage.com rejected a plea deal Tuesday.

Sherman Gamble, 54, of Manhattan was busted March 4 after an alleged hooker who lived in his apartment claimed he beat her, pulled her hair, choked her and shoved a newspaper down her throat after holding her captive for several days.

Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Courtney Groves offered Gamble three years in prison if he copped to felony assault and promoting prostitution. He declined the deal before Justice Jill Konviser in Manhattan Supreme Court.

“He’s not considering it,” said his lawyer Norman Steiner. “This case is a fabricated story by a not credible witness who masqueraded as a nanny to avoid having her parents find out she was a prostitute.”

The alleged victim, who initially told cops she was the nanny for Gamble’s grandson, showed up at the 13th Precinct March 4th and reported the abuse.

She claimed the one-man Gestapo threatened to kill her during the beatings. “You don’t know who I am. I am the black Hitler!” he bellowed, according to the criminal complaint.

The woman, 22, escaped by telling Gamble she needed to go to the bank, she told police.

But Gamble’s lawyer insisted the hooker made up the “black Hitler” charge and that the brusing on her face was inflicted by a john.

She trumped up the accusations against Gamble because he threatened to out her to her parents in a bid to get her to quit the business, Steiner argued.

The alleged victim is facing a grand larceny rap for allegedly stealing a ring and bracelet valued at more than $12,000 from a john on Feb. 22nd, according to police sources and the criminal complaint against her

Gamble has prior busts for assaulting his own child, patronizing a hooker, and illegally subletting a Section 8 residence.

Gamble faces raps for kidnapping, rape, assault, promoting prostitution and sex trafficking.
