Police in the UK reportedly believe that the online mentor of Cannibal Cop Gilberto Valle may have had sex with corpses — in the morgues at hospitals where he worked as a nurse.
Dale Bolinger, who tutored Valle on cooking and feasting on women, is being investigated for possibly sneaking into the facilities and playing doctor with the bodies, according to The Mirror.
“We checked if Bolinger had access to bodies and mortuaries,” one police source told the paper. “He had no authorization, but we can’t be sure if he entered the mortuary or got access to bodies without anyone knowing.”
Bolinger was convicted last week of plotting to eat a 14-year-old girl he had befriended on the Internet.
Valle, who spent nearly two years in jail for plotting to kill and eat women, had his conviction overturned by a Manhattan judge who believed the alleged plots were nothing more than fantasies.
