Two ‘suspicious’ suitcases found in NYC were harmless

Two suspicious suitcases left at the upscale Warwick Hotel in Midtown Monday were found to be harmless, cops said.

The suitcases were discovered before noon inside the W. 54th Street and 6th Avenue hotel. One of the bags had a timer on it, source said.

Dozens of emergency responders – including the NYPD Bomb Squad – evacuated a few floors of the hotel during the nearly two-hour long investigation but found the bags to be nothing.
