The ubiquitous “Frozen” still hasn’t thawed, but Disney is onto its next big animated movie.
On Thursday, the House of Mouse released a teaser trailer for its upcoming cartoon feature, “Big Hero 6.”
Based on the comic book series, this marks the first time Disney is trying out a Marvel property as an animated feature since the company acquired Marvel Entertainment back in 2009.
The film takes place in the fictional San Fransokyo, where a boy genius and his robot friend will team up with four others to fight crime. Two of those heroes are girls, which Disney is hoping will draw little girls in, the same way that “Frozen” was able to attract little boys.
We’ll see whether lightning strikes twice November 7, when “Big Hero 6” hits theaters.
