An alleged drug dealer shot dead a pal who had knifed him with an ornamental dagger after being refused crack cocaine on credit, cops said.

The 50-year-old drug user had asked his dealer pal for a quick fix in the Woodside Houses at Broadway and Steinway Street in Astoria at 11:15 p.m. Friday, police said.

The user vowed to pay the dealer at a later date, but the 32-year-old purveyor refused, cops said.

The user then reached for the dagger hanging on a wall and knifed the dealer, sources said.

The dealer responded with a pistol and fatally shot him, cops said.

The shooter had not been charged with a crime as of last night, cops said.

The DA’s Office and police investigators are sorting out the details of the stabbing and slaying.

A birthday celebration turned into a deadly melee at a Woodside catering hall, cops said.

A passel of pals was celebrating a 30th birthday party at the Queens Palace at 57th Street and 37th Avenue at 1 a.m. Saturday when a group of 30 men were denied entry by a staffer at the door, police said.

Soon, someone fired shots inside, but it wasn’t immediately clear what sparked the violence.

Edwardo Rojas, 24, was bludgeoned with an unknown object by an unidentified foe, said law-enforcement authorities, and a 25-year-old man was left with a graze wound to the head.

The victims were rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where Rojas was pronounced dead and the 25-year-old man was recovering, police said.

Police are working to determine if the violence was gang-related.

The 25-year-old man has prior arrests for robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said, while Rojas had been nabbed twice for turnstile jumping.
