Court accidentally shown close-up of Steenkamp’s dead body

“Blade Runner” Oscar Pistorius sobbed loudly and vomited again in a South African courtroom Thursday after a gruesome close-up photo of his dead girlfriend’s body was accidentally shown on courtroom video monitors.

Friends of gorgeous blond model Reeva Steenkamp also burst into tears and tried to console one another when the ghastly image appeared as a court officer scrolled through images on a computer.

As Pistorius, 27, started to vomit, two other court officers rushed to bring him a bucket.

The video feed to the court was briefly turned off as the once-beloved double-amputee Olympic hero was comforted by his sister Aimee, who wiped tears from his face as he whined to his legal team about the graphic image.

It was the second time on Thursday that Pistorius was sickened by graphic photographic evidence of what he had done.

Earlier, photos showing blood splatters on the floor, walls and furniture of his luxury Pretoria pad — as well as on his famous prosthetic “blades” — made him hurl.

He also threw up Monday during testimony about Steenkamp’s injuries, suffered when he pumped three hollow-point bullets into her head, arm and hip from a powerful handgun at close range.

Prosecutors said the admitted killer blasted Steenkamp, 29, as she cowered in the locked bathroom after a pre-dawn argument turned violent on Valentine’s Day 2013.

Pistorius claims he mistook her for an intruder who somehow got into his home in his gated, heavily guarded community.

Pistorius and Steenkamp’s pals first became upset when the court was shown a photo of the smashed-in door lying next to a pool of Steenkamp’s blood on the bathroom floor.

The next photo — which was shown by accident — was far more graphic, displaying her lifeless, bloodied body.

The video monitor in front of Pistorius was temporarily switched off and his sister sat with him, her head on his shoulder, as ex-police Col. Schoombie Van Rensburg — the first officer on the scene after the shooting — began his testimony.

Prosecutor Gerrie Nel had warned the court that graphic and potentially upsetting images would be shown during his testimony.

Van Rensburg described how he saw Steenkamp’s body covered in towels and plastic bags that the daughter of the property manager said she had used, with Pistorius’ help, to try to stop the bleeding.

A tearful Pistorius was pacing in the kitchen, van Rensburg said, and did not answer when the cop asked what had happened.

Roux said pieces of the door had gone missing as he continued to attack what he said was a sloppy investigation.

Van Rensburg, who took the photos shown in court, was forced to retire when it was revealed he kept the door in his office for a week, rather than place it in a secure, tamper-proof evidence room.

Pistorius is charged with premeditated murder and faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted. He pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and three firearm-related offenses
