First Lady Michelle Obama on Wednesday joined hundreds of thousands of others who used the Twitter hashtag #BringBackOurGirls to draw attention to the nearly 300 kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls.
“Our prayers are with the missing Nigerian girls and their families. It’s time to #BringBackOurGirls. –mo,” she wrote on Twitter, posting a photo of herself looking somber and holding a sign showing the hashtag.
The hashtag has been retweeted nearly a million times worldwide.
