Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ breaks music video record for Vevo

Nicki Minaj’s ample assets are paying off for Vevo.

The rapper’s rump-shaking “Anaconda” — which samples Sir Mix-A-Lot’s classic ode to big butts, “Baby Got Back” — shattered the record for the most-watched video on the popular music hub.

“Anaconda” garnered 19.6 million view in just 24 hours and has more than 39 million views since the video was released on Tuesday evening.

Minaj blew past Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” the previous record holder, which notched 19.3 million views in September 2013 after her twerk-filled appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards.

Like Cyrus, Minaj is expected to steal the show at the upcoming VMAs scheduled to air on Sunday.

Minaj set the Vevo record twice before for “Beauty and a Beat,” a collaboration with Justin Bieber that grabbed 10.6 million views in October 2012, and “Stupid Hoe,” which was watched 4.8 million times in January 2012.

In the controversial “Anaconda,” Minaj writhes around in a pink string thong and gives a lap dance to fellow rapper and label mate Drake — all with the point of showing off her perfectly round posterior.

As The Post reported last week, Vevo’s owners backtracked on a sale after deciding that the five-year-old property is poised for continued rapid growth.

Vevo — owned by Universal Music, Sony Music Entertainment, Google and the Abu Dhabi Media Group — isn’t the only one profiting from the 31-year-old Queens-born rapper’s bodacious backside.

Apple-owned Beats Pill, a brand of Bluetooth speakers, also scored a surprise product placement in “Anaconda,” in which Minaj raps about popping a different kind of pill.
