Worst ‘Family Feud’ contestant ever can’t think of another word for ‘mother’

“Family Feud” host Steve Harvey experienced a dumbfounding case of déjà vu when a contestant on the game show inexplicably kept giving him the same answer.

Sheila Patterson was asked, “What’s another way people say mother?,” to which she answered, “Nana” — seconds after the family member standing next to her gave the same answer with a different pronunciation.

After Harvey politely explained that both answers are spelled the same way, she answered, “Mommy” — the same word given by her relative the round before.

“What about Mom-my?” she ventured next, putting the accent on the later syllable.

Harvey, not believing what he was hearing, went over to riff with the studio audience to give Patterson some more time to think. When he asked again — and she again answered “Nana” — he nearly lost it.

“This s–t can’t be happening,” he said.

He told the studio audience the segment will surely be cut down for when the episode airs, but you can watch all eight excruciating minutes in the clip above.
