Mayor de Blasio is gushing over his family’s move to Gracie Mansion — and expressed relief over no longer having four people share one bathroom, as they did in Brooklyn.
Gracie Mansion has five bathrooms in the residential part alone.
“The No. 1 development for our family in this move is not having to wait in line for the bathroom,” Hizzoner said at City Hall on his first full day back from an eight-day family vacation in Italy.
“Now there will not be a line for the bathroom, or conflicts over the bathroom,” he added. It took the de Blasios 55 days to move since announcing their intention to depart their Park Slope home of 14 years.
The mayor said they hadn’t yet decided whether to rent out their house, but that it needs some fixing up first regardless.
